Half Hour Walk

Why hire a dog walker?

Dogs need to go on walks to be exercised physically, and socially.

Dogs have been bred for centuries to be on the go, no matter what time of day. For example, a golden retriever needs to walk 3 miles a day! When dogs aren't exercised enough, they can become obese and unhealthy, just like humans. Since exercising is what most dogs do for fun, be it playing fetch or going for a jog, they also get bored and find other things to do, like tear up your couch! Hiring a dog walker will keep your friend healthy and happy, saving your time, money, and household belongings.

Dogs need to go on walks to remain socialized. Can you imagine how scary the world would be if you had been inside for months on end? Just like people, dogs can forget how to act around others when they live in an isolated setting. Having a trained professional oversee the regular socialization of your dog during walks will ensure your dog knows how to act in a variety of situations.

Why only half an hour?

We've found that most of our canine clients are pooped after half an hour. The energetic dogs take off running, and burn out of steam. The laid back dogs start to trickle down. Even we start to get a little tuckered out! In our experience, the dogs start pulling us back home after a half an hour, so this is our answer to popular demand.

We'll make sure your furry friend has plenty of water before we lock the door behind us.

Reasons to Hire a Poop Scooper

  • It's messy, and you just don't want to pick it up.
  • Fecal matter contains bacteria and deadly parasites.
  • If you put off doing it yourself, your children might become infected/infested.
  • Letting fecal matter accumulate will make your backyard smell bad.
  • Having a pet dog shouldn't stink.

    $15
    Out of town Nanny
First two pets included, $10/day more per dog/cat.

This deluxe package ensures your pet/s will have as pleasant a vacation as you do while you are away from home. We'll keep their feeding and exercise schedule on time. We'll spend the night so they have a human to tell them a bedtime story and tuck them back into bed if they have a nightmare. You'll be able to call your nanny's cell phone at any time to tell your furry friend how much you miss them.

Why Hire a Nanny instead of Boarding?

Losing their human is stressful enough for a pet, and being put in a strange place with loud animals and a different schedule is too much for some animals. Boarding a social dog in a familiar facility can be a lot of fun, but not every animal is a social dog, and you don't always have access to a trusted facility. A lot of our overnight nanny clients are shy cats who would otherwise be put in a small cage if boarded. There are also elderly dogs who are perfectly comfortable taking a jog around the neighborhood, but would quickly become defensive and hostile if faced with a new schedule and surroundings.

One of the familiar greetings we receive from our two legged clients as they return from vacation is, "Spotty, didn't you even miss Mommy?" They never cease to be amazed at how casual a greeting they receive from their pets! That's because we have so much fun while you are gone that they don't want their Nanny to leave. Thinking back on experiences you have had with boarding facilities, do you remember how ecstatic your pet was to see you and get in the car? Which do you feel more comfortable with?
