Maybel is a doll, really.

She squatted and let loose a torrent as i eased her out the front door. I cleaned it as best I could. Sorry! You know animals, the second you try and clean up, they rush to compensate.

Stretch's Collar

The proper way to use stretch's collar is to have it already tight enough where it rests right behind his ears, while still letting you pry it on and off for walks. To correct him you give a very gentle but firm jerk that lasts only a moment. This shouldn't be enough to cutoff his airway. You aren't using a choke force, you are simulating a pack leader's dominant mouth closing around his throat . If the entire collar only tightens to the circumfrence of a regular collar, it is ineffective. Similarly, if the collar is just used to choke a dog while it pulls, it won't modify behavior. It must stay directly behind his ears at all times to best get his attention while not causing physical trauma. Properly used, it simply gives an instant correction.
